Multiple times over in-fact and while we are on a first name basis with the majority of the staff, we are not being paid or sponsored by any of them. So why write the article? Simply put, we love our magical town of Aspen and we really love all of the incredible people that live here and make it such a special place for everyone to visit! The Hotel Venues:

The St. Regis Aspen Resort lives at the base of Aspen Mountain and is a truly spectacular property that effortlessly combines historic luxury and modern sophistication. The St. Regis Aspen offers a fantastic ceremony terrace with an absolutely spectacular view of Aspen Mountain. The terrace are can also accommodate a tented reception or if you’d prefer your guests to enjoy the luxurious comforts of the hotel, you are able to host your receptions in a myriad of locations, from the Grand Ballroom to any of the 12 event rooms or two restaurants. With luxurious guest suites, a spa and easy access to Aspen's many activities for every time of year, yours will be a wedding your guests won't soon forget.

The Hotel Jerome is located in the center of town and is the very definition of Historical Aspen with a modern twist of course. From it’s cozy and romantic Living Room bar, it’s private speakeasy, Bad Harriet’s, it’s massive ballroom and of course it’s brand new garden and terrace area with spectacular views of Aspen Mountain, there is no shortage of fantastic spaces for your wedding events. Plus, the staff is absolutely stellar and really do an amazing job of ensuring that your events are unforgettable. Hotel Jerome, an Auberge resort, has 99 luxurious rooms and suites if your guests choose to stay onsite.




The Aspen Meadows Resort is situated just outside the core of Aspen on a beautiful and sprawling natural wonderland. Host to all kinds of events throughout the year, The Aspen Meadows grounds really comes alive in the Spring and Summer. With several venue and location options throughout the grounds for large and more intimate gatherings, The Aspen Meadows blends indoor and outdoor entertaining beautifully. Rachel Butler has been with the Meadows for some time is really quite exquisite at ensuring a beautiful experience for all.



The Little Nell offers two really monumental venues with The AspenX Mountain Club & The Sundeck at Aspen Mountain. Perched at the very top of Aspen Mountain, both venues offer something that most others cannot; Sweeping views of Colorado in every direction. Plus, a really fun gondola ride to the top! It’s not everyday one get’s the opportunity to ride a gondola and so it definitely makes for a fun experience. Plus, with the top of the mountain reserved exclusively for you and your guests, it’s unlike any other venue you’ve experienced. The Sundeck boasts 30-foot ceilings, a cozy fireplace and is able to accommodate up to 500 people. The AspenX Mountain Club is a hidden gem with sweeping views of the Elk Mountain Range. With a recent remodel, The Mountain Club has been opened up wirth new spaces and windows, modern décor and museum-worthy art. Private events are staffed by The Little Nell and can host 250 for a cocktail reception, or 100 in the dining room.

The Ranch Venues:

Chaparral Ranch is an exclusive and private venue tucked away within the mountains of the Roaring Fork Valley. The grounds are huge, 48 rentable acres with panoramic mountain views located 15 minutes from downtown Aspen. A stunning and massive horse arena (12,185 sq. ft.) sits adjacent to a private lake. The grounds are absolutely perfect for hosting a ceremony and cocktail reception outside while stages and multiple configurations are available inside the arena. There is no shortage of space or possibilities when it comes to hosting you’re wedding at Chaparral!.


Dunbar Ranch is probably the most exclusive venue in Aspen and once you experience it you’ll know why. Spanning 160 acres, this beautiful property is a haven for anyone seeking privacy and serenity. Experience a true taste of Rocky Mountain living year-round with serene views and on-site activities, including fly-fishing, cross-country skiing, paddle-boarding, kayaking and tubing. (9,300 sq. ft. of event space)



T-Lazy 7 is a family-owned ranch that is surrounded by National Forest and is on the way to the famous Maroon Bells just outside of downtown Aspen. T-Lazy has 3 venues making it an ideal location for weddings, receptions, and welcome parties and can accommodate up to 500 guests. From hosting your ceremony in the meadow followed a tented reception to utilizing the quaint lodge or hosting a western style welcome reception at the outdoor Chuckwagon grounds along the river, T-Lazy has got you covered!

While Pine Creek Cookhouse isn’t technically a ranch, we are going to throw it in this category simply because it’s surrounded by nature and the most majestic views you could possibly imagine! Nestled within the Ashcroft Valley meadow, PCC is customizable for groups of all sizes. The venue itself can host 160 guests but with an added tent you can crank that up to 250 guests. In the winter months, the restaurant is reached by horse-drawn sleigh or cross-country trails. In the summer and fall, guests can arrive by vehicle at the restaurant’s front door.

The Unique Venues:

The Hurst Theatre at The John Denver Sanctuary is situated in the heart of Downtown Aspen, in the middle of a beautiful park, right alongside the river! The theatre is a seasonal venue open from early June through early October. The venue provides 360 degrees of scenic views and natural landscapes, surrounded by wild flowers, shallow pools and rock gardens. It’s a truly magical place and is perfect for smaller weddings. Dinning is al fresco on the garden patio can accommodate up to 150 guests for a seated dinner or 185 for a cocktail reception.

For something more unique and yet stunning, the rooftop terrace at the Aspen Art Museum is where it’s at! Half inside, half outside, the vibe of the museum is sleek, modern, simple and full of beautiful natural light! And the view of Aspen Mountain is to die for! The award-winning Shigeru-Ban-designed building offers 3,248 sq. ft. of event space and while it’s perfect for smaller weddings, your guests are sure to feel absolutely gigantic in this sweeping and uplifting space!
